Vanya Gastrow

Vanya Gastrow holds a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town and has recently completed a masters dissertation on Hannah Arendt’s political theory. Vanya’s research focuses on exploring the ability of foreign shopkeepers to access justice when they are victims of crime and xenophobia. This includes analysing the responses of the justice system, civil society and surrounding communities to attacks.
