In September, Jessica began her doctorate in political science at George Washington University.
Jessica has a degree in Philosophy and International Relations from Tufts University. She has conducted field research on issues related to conflict and transitional justice in Ghana, South Africa, and Northern Uganda. She is the founder of a non-profit organization called Collaborative Transitions in Africa, which supports local transitional justice initiatives in post-conflict communities. She is a Scoville Fellow at the Stimson Center where she researched border security and measures of effectiveness. Her research topic focused on conflict management, monitoring and evaluation among mobile populations.
