Thesis: Making Meaning amidst Xenophobia: How Apostolic Zionist Churches Make Sense of Outsiders, Scarcity, and Entitlement in Alexandra Township, South Africa

After completing her BA in Philosophy and Religion (honors), Becca worked at a non-profit in Chicago that partnered with universities, civic organizations, religious communities and think tanks to develop skills among young people toward a new way of engaging with religious identity in the public square. Becca studied 'reconciliation and development' in Durban in 2005 and worked for the African Religious Health Assets Programme (ARHAP) in Cape Town in 2007.
