Dr Didier Ruedin is a senior lecturer at the Swiss Forum for Migration and Population Studies at the University of Neuchâtel and a research associate at the African Centre for Migration & Society at the University of the Witwatersrand. He uses experiments and quantitative analysis to study migration, including how and why immigrants are excluded. This comprises discrimination (labour market, housing, health care), attitudes to foreigners, and political reactions in public debates.
